Getting a Library Card
Provide one of the following at the Circulation Desk:
A current AWC or NAU in Yuma student I.D., or
A picture I.D. and proof of current mailing and street address in Yuma or La Paz Counties; a student ID number and date of birth.
Proof of street address includes such items as: current utility bills, imprints on personal checks, voter registration card, bank statement, rent receipt, or e-statements.
Individuals 13 to 17 years of age
In addition to the above requirements:
Must have parental permission (in person) by signature on their card application.
Exception: students with proof of enrollment at AWC or NAU-Yuma do not need permission.
No cards are issued to children under 13 years of age.
In addition to the above requirements you must provide a secondary address as well as the AWC Dorm address.
Winter Visitors and other non-residents of Yuma or La Paz counties:
In addition to the above requirements, please provide proof of out-of-state address and proof of local address.
Remote Site/Distance Students:
Current AWC students enrolled in classes at one of our instructional sites away from the main Yuma campus or in fully online classes may apply for a library card online. Please use our online library card application to request a library card.
