POSITION:   ITN and TV Services Supervisor-La Paz County

 

SALARY:   $36,179 plus excellent fringe benefits.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:   Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least two years’ experience in broadcast production technology. Demonstrated experience utilizing Interactive Television. Demonstrated experience utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 editing software or similar application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with a diverse staff, student, and faculty population. Preferred: Associate’s degree in Television Production, Media Arts, Broadcasting, or related field. Previous supervisory experience. Note: This Position is located in Parker, AZ.

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:   Under the direction of the Director of ITN, hires, trains, schedules, supervises, and counsels La Paz County ITN and TV Services staff.

Performs control room operations and support for ITN; provides ITN and TV Services technical consultation to faculty and staff.

Writes, shoots, and edits television and video programs; produces and directs in-studio and field productions; coordinates facility production needs; schedules and programs playback for the educational cable channel using a computer-based automation system.

Works under the general direction of the Director of Television Services in respect to the content and delivery of educational video production and programming, social media, website management, and other community relations.

Performs other duties as required.
