"+" refers to semester hours of graduate work earned beyond attainment of the highest degree; i.e., after degree conferment.
New hires are allowed 1% for each year of directly related teaching experience (for academic areas) and 1% for each year of directly related occupational experience (for vocational areas). No experience credit will be given beyond a total of six (6) years.
