The District Governing Board of the Arizona Western College District is made up of five persons, elected from the geographical district of Yuma and La Paz County. They are elected to six-year staggered terms.

Current members of the board and their terms are:
Pam Stroud was appointed to represent District II in August 2001. Following subsequent successful elections Pam is serving a term that runs through December 31, 2012. 

Randy Hartless started serving on the District Governing Board January 1, 2009 representing District I in La Paz County. His term runs through December 31, 2014.

Steve Shadle who represents District V was first elected and started serving on the board January 1, 2005 and was re-elected with a term running through December 31, 2012. 

Doug Mellon represents District IV and was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Alicia Valdez. His term runs through December 31, 2012.

Dennis Booth representing District III, was appointed to fill the term of Dr. Marjorie Barcomb until the next election in 2012.
