How to get the most out of the design process
Allow enough time for your project. Most publications will take six to eight weeks from conception to final delivery; small jobs may take less time and major projects will take longer.

Since we are juggling many jobs for many clients, we want to be able to give you our
Define the full scope of work when you meet with the designers. We will
need an electronic and a hard copy of your text. We will start work on your job when we
receive your content.
You will need to be available for proofing throughout the life of your project;
be ready to make timely approval decisions.
Carefully check the final copy and design before it goes to print; changes after
that will be expensive and will delay the project.
Off-campus printers require a purchase order before they will start your job.

You should find a CP job number somewhere on the piece.
What mandatory information will you need to include?
All publications should incorporate the AWC logo and affirmative action/equal opportunity statement (if going off-campus); however, a bulk mailing stamp or special language may be critical to your publication.
Come prepared to describe your ideal publication to us.
